Drowsy Driver Hurt in Crash

A Lindsborg woman is hurt in a single-vehicle crash Tuesday evening.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, 69-year-old Jo Mae Henderson-Shaw was driving a car headed east on K4 Highway when she fell asleep. The car went into the ditch, rolled one time,and came to rest on its wheels in a sunflower field.

Henderson-Shaw, who was buckled up, was hurt. She was transported to the hospital in Lindsborg.

The crash happened at 5:25 Tuesday evening on K4 Highway in McPherson County.
