Deputy Hurt In Crash Involving Deer

A Lincoln County Sheriff Deputy is injured in a single vehicle crash involving a deer.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, deputy Jennie Pahls was responding to a call early Monday morning in rural Lincoln County when she hit a deer.

Pahls, who was buckled up, was hurt. She was transported by a personal vehicle to the hospital in Lincoln.

The crash happened at 4:03 Monday morning on K 181 Highway four miles southwest of Sylvan Grove.
