KSAL StaffSeptember 25, 2014

Police are investigating after a woman’s credit cards are used to rack up more $5,000 in purchases.

Police say a 66-year-old Salina woman contacted them this week after realizing that someone used her Sears, Master Card and Bank of America Visa card to make purchases at Target, Walgreens and Wal-Mart between September 17th and September 24th.

The woman told officers she may have misplaced the cards and someone found them.

Total loss is $5,743.
