A stolen car is recovered after thieves strip the vehicle clean.
Saline County Sheriff Glen Kochanowski tells KSAL News that a 1999 Honda Civic that was reported stolen from a Salina residence in late November was found after someone dumped the frame in the 1300 block of E. McReynolds Road early Monday morning.
Deputies say the tag was left on the shell of the vehicle, that was valued at $1,000.
Officers found the vehicle after a concerned citizen noticed a truck in the area around 2am Monday.
