Burglers Hit Construction Site

Burglars hit a new home site in Salina.

Police are investigating after someone forced open a door on a home under construction in the 600 block of Quail Hollow and removed items that belong to Barnett Electric of Salina.

Police say sometime between Monday evening at 9:30pm and Tuesday morning at 6:30am, someone stole four rolls of copper wire valued at $900, four electrical extension cords worth $320.

Damage to the door is listed at $20.

Police also report a $100 extension cord and $100 floor fan were also taken from a garage at a build next door.

The items were owned by Doug’s Heating and Air Conditioning.
