A duffel bag is stolen from a car trunk as a man prepares for a trip.

Saline County Sheriff’s Deputies were called to 207 E. Borgmeyer Road on Friday night after 51-year-old Douglas Jarvis noticed his black duffel bag containing pearl cufflinks, with a matching tie tack missing.

Jarvis told officers he was going back and forth between the house and trunk when the bag was taken sometime between 11pm and 11:30pm.

The bag also contained Italian made alligator shoes, some jeans and a pair of men a women’s pirate costumes.

Total loss is listed at over $2,280.
