A Coffeyville teen is under arrest in connection with a deadly drive-by shooting in Independence.

Eighteen-year-old Benjamin Mason is accused of shooting 19-year-old Kimberly Meeks along Main Street in Independence on Saturday evening.

Meeks died at the scene, and the man who was with her fled.

Mason was arrested on Sunday and booked on first-degree murder charges.
