A Salina man was arrested after crashing his pickup into an ex-girlfriend’s house in the 400block of S. Connecticut.

Police Lt. Andrew Zeigler tells KSAL News that 42-year-old David Garrett was taken into custody on Friday afternoon after he allegedly hit the 41-year-old woman’s front porch and then her 2008 Hyudai Azera before driving away in a 1995 Ram truck.

The woman was home but uninjured. Damage is estimated at $6,500.

Garrett is now facing numerous charges that could include criminal damage to property and driving as a habitual violator.
