Aerospace Company Help

Kansas Governor Laura Kelly is ready to help a Wichita aviation company impacted by the Boeing 737 Max production stoppage.

Kelly announced yesterday that Spirit Aerosystems had said no one will be laid off, but the state may need to partner with the airplane parts provider on arrangements to make sure people keep their jobs.

Boeing’s decision to halt production of the 737 Max comes nine months after the FAA grounded the plane following two deadly crashes.
