An organization that promotes second chances – wants area golfers to line up for a ‘Mulligan’ to help those in need.

The 15th Annual Mulligan Stew Golf Tournament is teeing off Friday, May 23rd and will benefit the Salina Rescue Mission and Emergency Aid Food Bank.

Steve Kmetz, Salina Rescue Mission Executive Director stopped into the KSAL Morning News on Monday and says teams are forming right now, “We are going to have a shotgun start at 8am at Salina Municipal,” he said.

“We’ve got great prizes and we’re hoping for at least three flights.” Kmetz says the cost is $85 per person or $340 for a group of four and includes a Continental Breakfast and Jim’s Chicken for lunch.

Kmetz adds the golfer who hits a ‘Hole in One’ during the tournament on #8 will win a new vehicle from Long McArthur Ford.
