$5,000 in Food Products Stolen

A trailer full of food is stolen.

Salina Police Captain Mike Sweeney tells KSAL News that a 12-foot enclosed trailer that was parked in a lot at 1631 E. North Street was taken sometime between Sunday and Monday.

The owner told officers that the trailer which is valued at $5,000 was loaded with $5,000 worth of Pepperidge Farm products.

The trailer is described as black with maroon and silver stripes and has a Kansas tag: 673 FPK.

Total loss is listed at $10,000.
