Don’t Talk to Strangers

A man allegedly tries to coerce a child to get into a vehicle.

According to Salina Police, in the 1200 block of Republic Circle yesterday a young girl was stopped while crossing the street by a man in a white pick-up truck.

The man, reportedly in his 30’s, offered the 9-year-old girl a ride in his truck and other incentives to get in to the vehicle.

The girl continued to walk towards her friends house and told what happened to an adult who then reported the incident to police.

The truck was a white, extended cab pick-up with a sun roof. The man, a white male, was wearing a black and white ball cap.

What in the world does seatbelt citations have to do with this, unless you drive a white truck, with sunroof

I know chuckie you lack education so let me try to explain this so your mind can accept it. If the cops spent more time looking for this person instead of wasting manpower sitting around some intersection to give out tickets that violate a person’s rights they might just be able to local this pervert. This is not the first report on this happening. Does a child need to be taken and then found dead somewhere to get the police to do their job? I believe they need to step up look and find this guy before something like this happens. After all they are suppose to Protect & Serve.

What is your expertise on law enforcement? If you can run the force better, go for it. But your experience of watching Scooby Do and the Mystery Machine does not qualify

Iggy, I just went back into the archive. You wanted to see me at the Leadsled show, was it to buy me dinner or a drink? Now I remember

Iggy, is an expert at all things. He could run the police force and the educational system. (probably at the same time) I tend to think he’s just a very unhappy person. I support the police force as well as Salina USD 305. It is their job to enforce the laws and it so happens that usage of seatbelts is required. It is easier to judge others than reflect on your own life. Again, I wish you peace and comfort.

Sorry chuckie and old lady 19 I do not live every minute on here like you people. I was at the car show everyday and never seen anyone with a rose in their hair as you said you would do chuckie so I would recognize you. Old lady you are just on here to make studip comments and then run and hide somewhere. I am a very happy person especially when I can expose people like both of you. And lady the salina school system is in shambles and they do not need to keep that bond going that they said would be retired when they were wanting it approved years ago.

Iggy, I have been a bit busy with life. I don’t always have time to read your comments and posts. I hardly run away and hide. I just see no point in arguing with you. I am not sure what you think you have exposed, but oh well. You don’t have to support the school district…that is certainly your right. Of course, I just happen to disagree with you. And to annoy you even further… I happen to agree with the seatbelt law.
