Woman Stabbed, Treated at ER

Police are looking for a known female suspect, after a woman is treated for multiple stab wounds.

According to Lt. Scott Siemsen, officers were called to the ER at Salina Regional Health Center on Saturday morning at about 2:25am to the report of a woman who was stabbed.

Police say a 19-year-old-female from Rosehill, Kansas was involved in an altercation in the parking lot of the Ramada Inn, 1616 W. Crawford on Saturday and was stabbed in the hip, back and side of the neck.

Lt. Siemsen tells KSAL News that the injuries were not considered to be life threatening.

The weapon used in the attack is believed to be a knife, and has not been found. Police say the investigation is ongoing and they are actively searching for the still unidentified female.
