A woman is accused of falsely repoting a robbery at a Salina hotel.

According to Salina Police, at 7:53 Tuesday morning officers responded to a report of a robbery at the Ramada Inn at 1616 W. Crawford. They made contact with 23-year-old Rahdesha Richardson of Wichita, who reported her girlfriend, 24-year-old Joan Robinson also of Wichita, had robbed her of a prepaid Visa card while they were in a room. Richardson said that she was holding the card during an argument with Robinson, and it was forcibly removed. She said that Robinson left in a 2000 Mazda Protégé with another female passenger who was not involved. Richardson also reported Robinson was in possession of a firearm.

Officers located the vehicle and Robinson in the parking lot of Casey’s at 2404 S. 9th. The card, a handgun, and personal use Marijuana were located in the vehicle.

Further investigation revealed that Richardson falsely reported the card was forcibly removed from her. She was arrested and charged with falsely reporting a crime. Robinson was arrested for a Failure to Appear warrant from Pratt County, Possession of Marijuana and Drug Paraphernalia and Suspended Driver’s license.
