KSAL StaffNovember 9, 2016

Salina Police are searching for a suspect who entered a woman’s van and stole multiple items while she slept inside.

Captain Mike Sweeney tells KSAL News that 26-year-old Cody Adkins is homeless – and was sleeping in her van Tuesday afternoon in a parking lot at 2363 Chapel Ridge, when someone crept inside and stole a nail gun, cell phone, car speakers and amp, baby monitor and three hats.

Loss is listed at $1,025.

Police say they may have a lead on a suspect.
