UPDATE: SNAP Back Event Collection Sites Established

Collection locations have been established as part of a Salina Area United Way effort to help provide essentials to those who are struggling because of the government shutdown.

Due to the recent government shutdown, SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) benefits have been paused — leaving many Salina families without the support they rely on to afford food, medicine, and other essentials.

In response, Salina Area United Way and Tony’s Pizza Events Center are launching a powerful initiative: SNAP Back Against Hunger: Food & Resources Fair

This event is more than a food drive — it’s a community movement to support our neighbors in need.
