A Saturday morning fire destroys a Ford tractor.

Crews from Rural Fire Department #3 were called to an active fire inside a metal shed in the 8400 block of W. Stimmel Road Saturday morning just after 8am.

Saline County Sheriff Roger Soldan tells KSAL News that owner Joe Armstrong discovered the bidirectional tractor was on fire inside his metal shed and called for help.

Fire officials confirmed the fire originated inside the tractor.

Loss and damage is listed at $100,000.
