KSAL StaffDecember 5, 2016

A truck owner calls Salina Police after seeing a man leave his driveway with a box of tools.

Police arrested 18-year-old Alan Carter on Saturday after he allegedly entered a Chevy pickup around 2am that was parked in the 2400 block of Robin Road and stole a Snap-on Tool kit.

Officers were able to locate Carter a short time later and recover the tools.

He is now facing charges of burglary and theft.
