Threats Made with Gun

A loaded semi-automatic handgun was seized in a traffic stop Sunday morning after threats were made in a Salina home.

Police officers were called to 131 S. 10th Street around 8am after 32-year-old Rafael D. Milton allegedly got into an argument with Yolanda Cathey, 27 and Jerry Hurde, 26 – and then threatened to shoot the two with a handgun he displayed.

They called police after Milton drove away and officers found him a short time later in the 200 block of S. 9th.

He was booked into jail on charges that include criminal threat, aggravated assault and DUI.

No one was injured.
