Would-be thieves get into a fenced yard at the Army Reserve facility in Salina, but come away empty handed.
Salina Police say that sometime between Friday afternoon at 4:00 and 9:00 Monday morning would-be thieves entered the lot at the U.S. Army Reserve 425th Trans Company facility at 1700 South Broadway. Entry was gained by cutting a hole in a fence.
Once inside, a lock was cut on a metal storage container. Authorities say that it appears nothing was taken from the container.
Total damage is estimated at $560.
