A teenager was shot and killed in the Lincoln County community of Beverly.

Lincoln County Sheriff Deputies were called to a home on North 30th Road in Beverly on Monday evening. They found a 15-year-old girl suffering from a gunshot wound.

The victim was pronounced dead at Salina Regional Health Center.

Kansas Bureau of Investigation agents and the Crime Scene Response Team responded to the scene. An investigation into the deadly shooting is ongoing.
