The Saline County Treasurer’s Office has re-implemented a drop off service.

According to Saline County Treasurer Jim DuBois, the service will be available at the main motor vehicle tag office located at 300 W. Ash.

Citizens can avoid long lines by dropping off their vehicle registration renewal, proof of insurance and payment in a drop box located on the east side wall of the tag office. Customers will be instructed to put the necessary papers and payment in an envelope with their name and contact number. Once the process is completed someone from the tag office will notify them that their registration renewal is completed and they can come and pick it up.

There is no service fee for the use of this program. Same day service is not guaranteed.
