Suspect Turns Himself In

A Salina man wanted on two warrants is arrested and booked into the Saline County Jail Wednesday.

Police say 33-year-old Keith Johnson is facing charges that include aggravated battery, burglary and theft after a pair of incidents that date back to May 19th and June 25th.

Police allege that Johnson made threats and grabbed a 33-year-old female acquaintance by the head and covered up her mouth during an argument in the the parking lot at the YMCA around 5:20pm on May 19th.

A second warrant was also requested for Johnson, after he allegedly struck a 27-year-old man in the head with a blunt object in a north Salina home on June 25th at about 9:50pm.

The victim was treated for a 3-inch gash on the ride side of his scalp and a V shaped cut on the back of his head and then released.
