Suspect Found in Stolen Challenger

Salina Police arrest a South Dakota man driving a vehicle reported stolen in Oklahoma.

Captain Mike Sweeney tells KSAL News that police received information from a 38-year-old woman in Bartlesville, Oklahoma that an acquaintance of hers was traveling to Salina in a stolen car.

Police arrested 35-year-old Eldon Iron Hawk of Wagner, South Dakota, on Tuesday evening around 10:30pm at the Flying J Truck Stop on North Ohio.

Officers found Iron Hawk in a stolen 2007 Dodge Challenger and charged him with possession of stolen property.

Police say the vehicle was not damaged and is valued at $5,000.
