Salina Police are focusing their investigation on a known suspect in a forgery and theft case.
According to Captain Mike Sweeney, someone stole and forged checks belonging to 56-year-old Steven Jacobs of Salina.
Police say on five occasions between November of 2013 and January 20th, of this year the suspect forged his name and cashed checks at different locations around Salina.
Total loss is $6,600.
