KSAL StaffFebruary 25, 2014

A Salina Police investigation leads to 2 arrests.

According to Captain Mike Sweeney, 36-year-old Richard Kjellesvig of Salina and 22-year-old Benjamin Madacs of Abilene are now facing theft charges after allegedly taking numerous pieces of metal from a Salina business.

Staff at Kejr Incorporated, 633 N. Broadway, contacted police after an inventory revealed that pieces of #2 metal were missing from the property.

Police say on five occasions between February 14th and February 24th, the two removed metal from Kejr and then sold it at B F R Metals, 1504 State Street.

Kjellesvig is also facing five charges for making false writings.
