St. John’s Fares Well At Shooting Event

Students from St. John’s Military School bring home medals from a prestigious shooting competition.

According to the school, St. John’s recently competed in the National Rifle Association Kansas State Indoor 3-position Smallbore Junior and Open Sectionals.

St. John’s Cadets Sgt.Yixiu Li, from China, and 1st Lt. Jacob Wiese, Houston, won the gold and bronze medals in the Junior age category and Cadet Cpl. Scott Hoffman, Tulsa, earned the bronze medal in his age group. S

t. John’s Army Instructor / Rifle Team Coach Tony J. Blair (1st Sgt/Ret.) brough home gold in the Sharpshooter category.
