Shoplifting Trio

KSAL StaffSeptember 13, 2016

Police are looking for a group of shoplifters that hit a Salina retail store.

Captain Mike Sweeney tells KSAL News that just after 11am on Monday, a heavy set Asian woman and two Asian men entered the Rodeo clothing store at 1501 S. 9th and began to look around.

Police say one of the men distracted a clerk in the corner asking about cowboy boots they had in stock – while the other two loaded up men’s clothing items and an Apple iPhone 6 and left the store.

Police describe the woman as in her 40’s, one of the men in his 40’s, the other male is in his late teens or early 20’s.

Total loss is listed at $1,436.
