A new off-price department store is coming to Salina.
Ross Dress for Less is planning to open a location at the Central Mall. According to the mall, Ross Dress for Less will open a 25,000 square foot store located near JCPenney in 2015. Construction is set to begin in June 2014.
Ross Dress for Less is the nation’s largest off-price apparel and home fashion chain in the United States. Ross offers first-quality, in-season, name brand and designer apparel, accessories, footwear and home fashions for the entire family at everyday savings of 20% to 60% off department and specialty store regular prices.
“Ross Dress for Less will be a great asset to Central Mall and will complement our existing tenant mix. We will open over 30,000 square feet of new stores by the end of 2015 and are excited to keep the momentum going,”said Lisa McDowell, General Manager for Central Mall.
Ross Stores is headquartered in Pleasanton, California, operating under the name Ross Dress for Less. It is one of three large off-price retailers in the country including T.J. Maxx and Marshalls.
