Rhein Reigns At Access TV

Salina Community Access Television didn’t have to look far to find a new permanent executive director. The “interim” has been taken off the job description for Marnie Rhein, who had been filling in since Marcia Stephenson left in October.

According to the organization, Rhein has been named Executive Director effective immediately.

Rhein has been a member of the Access TV staff since 2005 when she was hired as the Volunteer and Training Coordinator. She has since held several positions including Government and Education Production Coordinator and Director of Production.

“Marnie has been doing a fabulous job for Access TV, and the Board is pleased with the positive steps she has taken since assuming the role of Interim Executive Director in October,” said Linda Smith, Board Chair. “The Board was unanimous in its decision to remove the term ‘interim’ from her title and award Rhein the position of Executive Director.”

Access TV also welcomes James Curtis as the new part-time production assistant. Also known in the community as Cash Hollistah, Curtis is a local rapper, performer, and educator in the community.
