KSAL StaffJuly 10, 2017

A portion of a Saline County Road is closing Monday. A stretch of Burma Road will be closed through mid-September.

According to Saline County, Burma Road from K-140 Highway to Crawford Street will be closed beginning Monday for the replacement of a deteriorated concrete deck on an existing six-barrel reinforced concrete box drainage structure.  No through traffic will be possible during the construction period and motorists are advised to allow a few extra minutes of travel time to reach their destinations.

Completion of the new deck and reopening of this section of Burma Road is anticipated by the middle of September.
