Police Looking at 2 Burglaries

Salina Police are investigating a burglary and theft case, after 3 vehicles were entered between midnight and 6:15am on Monday in the 100 block of Mt. Barbara. Keys, a suitcase with clothes, bottle of Crown Royal plus a Cannon camera with zoom lens were stolen. Total loss is listed at $725.

Police are also investigating a home burglary in the 100 block of E. Kirwin after someone stole an Apple Mac Book Pro, iPad computer and headphones plus a gold watch. Items were valued at $3,450. Police say thieves made entry through the backdoor, where the owner had a piece of cardboard in place of a missing pane of glass.
