Salina Police are investigating after 600 feet of copper wire is removed from buildings at the old St. John’s Hospital located at 139 North Penn. The theft occurred sometime between Wednesday evening and Thursday morning. The value of the copper is estimated at $15,000. The buildings are owned by Salina Regional Health Center.
Police report a residential burglary that occurred in the 400 block of W. Prescott Thursday sometime between 7am and 3pm. The homeowner told officers she returned home to find her rooms ransacked with $6,000 in jewelry and clothing stolen.
