A Salina woman is arrested after pulling a knife on a bondsman.

Police were called to Casey’s General Store at 215 W. Crawford Tuesday morning. Melinda Seward, a bondsman from Concordia was attempting to arrest Jonathan Mangold, 26, of Council Grove for not fulfilling his bond when Kimberlie Damron, 22, allegedly approached her with a box cutter. Mangold faces felony firearm possession and marijuana possession charges pending from a Saturday morning traffic arrest

Seward, who was carrying pepper spray, pulled for the spray prompting Damron to put the knife away.

Damron was arrested in the 100 block of N. Broadway. She faces charges on aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
