Wendy Lynn Gamache, age 55, passed away on April 7, 2026, in Salina, Kansas. Wendy was born on October 10, 1970, in Osborne, Kansas. Wendy spent her life being a loving mother, daughter, sister, and grandmother.
Wendy had an adventurous spirit that carried her far beyond home. She especially loved traveling across the country to visit her grandchildren, spending much of that cherished time in Delaware and Georgia. Some of her fondest memories were made around the table, sharing meals and laughter with those she loved. She treasured gatherings like the “Sister Get Together” with her mom and aunts, as well as special moments with her brother, sister, and many dear friends.
Wendy will be deeply remembered for her generosity and the kindness she showed to everyone in her life. She took great pride in her work and approached every job with dedication and care. Whether at Sirloin Stockade, McDonald’s, or anywhere in between, Wendy’s strong work ethic and commitment never wavered. Her legacy is one of love, perseverance, and a heart that gave so freely to others.
Wendy is preceded in death by her grandparents, Marion and Wilma, her dad, Richard, and numerous aunts and an uncle.
Wendy is survived by her mother, Marilyn, father, Doug, children, Shawn (Heather), Samantha (Ron), Bryce, and Brandon. Grandchildren Lilly, Brenda, and Guinevere.
