Sondra Simon, 72, Rantoul, KS, died Tuesday, February 3, 2026, at her home. She was born Sondra Boss on July 21, 1953, to Max and Annabelle (Quinn) Boss.

Sondra was a graduate of Bennington High School. She worked at Tony’s Pizza for over 30 years. After that, she became a massage therapist and that was job she thoroughly enjoyed.

Sondra had a strong faith and love for Jesus Christ. She was a longtime member of the Bennington Bible Church and various Emanuel Foursquare churches. She was a lover of animals, especially dogs and horses. Sondra loved spending time with her family and she adored her grandchildren. She never knew a stranger, and it was almost annoying how she would talk to anyone at any time.

Sondra was preceded in death by her father, Max.

Survivors are her mother, Annabelle Boss; husband, Raymond Simon; sons, Wade Doering and wife, Leslie and Cody Buckner; daughter, Dallas Cortes and husband, Emiliano; step-son, Levi Simon and wife, Chelsey; siblings, Ed Boss and wife, Debbie, Tim Boss and wife, Jetta, Marsha Gantvort and husband, Randy, and Nancy Speer and husband, Stan; grandchildren, Max, Mia, and McCoy Cortes and Ember Lynn, Ryker, Everly, Rhett, and Ellie Jo Simon; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, February 7 at the Bennington Cemetery. Following the services, there will be a luncheon and time of fellowship for family and friends at the Bennington Bible Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Ottawa Bible Church or the Bennington Cemetery and may be left in care of Wilson Family Funeral Home, P.O. Box 166, Minneapolis, KS 67467.
