The Kansas Supreme Court is welcoming a new member.

Larkin Walsh was sworn into the state’s highest court on Friday.

Walsh is the seventh woman to serve on the Kansas Supreme Court, and she replaces former Justice Evelyn Wilson, who retired in July due to health reasons.
