KSAL StaffMarch 6, 2014

The Saline County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a burglary in Gypsum.

Deputies were called to the 500 block of King Street in Gypsum after someone entered an unlocked woodshop that stands behind a home and removed numerous tools.

Sheriff Glen Kochanowski tells KSAL News that a Craftsman brand circular saw in a custom made wood carrying case was stolen along with a set of 150 drill bits stored in a metal box.

Deputies say a DeWalt cut-off saw, 24 various wrenches, a 6-foot wooded level and bolt cutters were all taken sometime between 7pm on Tuesday and Wednesday morning at 7am.

Total loss is listed at $615.
