The Salina Police Department is investigating after a car is broken into Saturday morning.

Between the hours of 2-7 a.m. a 2002 Honda Accord was compromised in the 500 block of Camden Dr.

Deputies say a backpack, eye glasses, billfold and three textbooks were taken from the vehicle. There was no sign of forced entry.

Total loss is estimated at $985.
