Minor Injuries In Head-On Crash

There were no serious injuries in a head-on crash early Saturday morning.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, 86-year-old Angel Zaval of Salina was driving a 2007 Nissan pickup headed west on K18 Highway near Talmage. She went left of center and collided head-on with an oncoming car.

Two women in the car, 30-year-old Amanda Wuehler from Longford and 56-year-old Kim Soper from Keystone, Nebraska, received minor injuries.

Troopers say that everyone was buckled up.

The crash happened at 6:38 Saturday morning, two miles west of Talmage on K18 Highway in Dickinson County.
