Salina Police are investigating a shooting last night.
Captain Sean Morton tells KSAL News that details will be released as officers learn more about a male who was shot and taken to the emergency room at Salina Regional Heath Center.
Staff at the hospital contacted police Thursday night at 10:48pm after the victim arrived for treatment of a gunshot wound.
Captain Morton did not release the name or know the condition of the victim during a media conference held Friday morning at 9:30am.
Police say the investigation is active and ongoing.
