KSAL StaffNovember 15, 2013

A famous furry creature who roams the sidelines at Arrowhead Stadium was roaming the halls of a Salina school this week. Students at Schilling Elementary School received a life lesson from Kansas City Chiefs mascot KC Wolf.

According to the school, KC Wolf, aka Dan Meers, came to Schilling for a visit on Thursday. KC Wolf riled up the entire crowd with his dancing and interactions with the student body. T

The presentation started with some highlights of the different activities that he has been involved in over the 20+ years he has been a mascot for the Kansas City Chiefs. After the video, he shared his life experiences of being a mascot and as his love of visiting schools to interact with students.

In his presentation “Don’t Be A Bully, Be A Buddy,” he explained to students that we should treat others how you want to be treated. Students were encouraged to respect others differences and to encourage each other in a positive way.
