Kansas lawmakers are continuing their preparations for the Kansas City Chiefs’ move to Kansas.

House members approved a bill that would create a sports authority board to oversee a new stadium for the Chiefs in Kansas City, Kansas, and a new team headquarters in Olathe.

The Chiefs announced in December that the team would leave Arrowhead Stadium for a new domed stadium in Kansas City, Kansas, by 2031.
