Friday Police Reports

A woman from Ottawa, Kansas, reports a theft from her SUV while she is shopping in Salina this week. Police say that 48-year-old Robin Saylor reports that a suitcase was stolen from her 1990 Chevrolet Blazer. Entry may have been gained through a back hatch-window. Contents include clothing, headphones, and iPod shuffle, and a laptop computer. Total loss is estimated at $1,214.

Thieves steal electronics from a Salina home. Police say that 51-year-old Levi Schneider reports that items were stolen from his home at 401 1/2 East Iron sometime Thursday evening between 5:30 and midnight. Entry may have been gained by reaching through a window and unlocking a door. Missing items include two X Box video game systems, a Sony Play Station 3 video game system, a laptop computer, headphones, video games, a 47″ TV, and 325 DVDs. Total loss is estimated at $5,250.

Police are looking for a stolen vehicle. Police say that 59-year-old Steve Bloomfield from Clifton parked a 1998 Chevrolet pickup at the Bosselman Travel Center back on December 3rd as he left for his truck driving job. When he returned on December 12th the pickup was gone. Total loss is listed at $2,000.
