A Salina tradition returns this week at the Community Theatre.
The 28th Annual Geranimium and Plant Sale kicks off Thursday, April 17th inside the Theatre Lobby at 11:30am.
Florence Jester and Jeanie Hemmy stopped into the KSAL Morning News on Tuesday with a look at the Salina Community Theatre Guild’s biggest fund raiser, “We have a beautiful selection this year and three days for everyone to stop by,” Jester said.
Proceeds from the flower sale help underwrite the Community Theatre’s Educational Department plus provides a boost to a local graduating high school senior.
“We award a thousand dollar scholarship to an area graduate who is on the way to college to study the arts,” Jester added.
Garden enthusiasts can get a jump on spring planting beginning this Thursday at 11:30am at the Salina Community Theatre located at 303 E. Iron, Salina, Kansas.
