Drugs Found in Artificial Leg

A man smuggles pills inside the jail using his prosthetic leg.

Slurred speech and a urine test showed an inmate inside the Saline County Jail was taking drugs. According to Sheriff Glen Kochanowski, 33-year-old Christopher L. Jones smuggled prescription drugs and meth into the facility – hiding the contraband inside his artificial leg.

Deputies became concerned when Jones allegedly began complaining about missing breakfast, slurring his speech in the process.

He was in jail on 4 probation violations and is now facing charges that could include possessing a stimulant and trafficking of contraband.
