Dozens of Wichita SNAP recipients are being impacted by a skimming device.

The Kansas Department for Children and Families announced yesterday that an investigation revealed that more than 40 Wichita SNAP recipients had their benefits stolen from a skimming device that had been placed on a point-of-sale terminal at a Wichita store.

Officials say the impacted cards were all used at the same store.
