Salina Police are investigating a residential burglary that was discovered by a caretaker.

Police say someone kicked a door in and entered a home at 132 S. Chicago sometime between 10pm Monday and 6:30am Tuesday.

The father of the homeowner discovered the break-in when he came by the residence to feed his daughter’s dogs.

Damage to the door is estimated at $880.
