According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, 42-year-old Morgan Fouliard was driving a pickup truck headed east on Interstate 70. He hit a southbound deer that crossed into the driving lane.

A passenger in the truck, 42-year-old Mary Fouliard, was transported to Salina Regional Health Center with possible injuries. No one else was hurt. Troopers say that everyone was buckled up.

The crash happened at 9:35 Saturday night near mile marker 254 just east of Salina.
