KSAL StaffNovember 2, 2016

A father, son argument turned violent inside a Salina home.

Police officers were called to a residence in the 100 block of Columbia on Tuesday evening around 11:15pm to the report of two men fighting.

Captain Mike Sweeney tells KSAL News that the argument escalated when 30-year-old David Perasso allegedly punched his father.

Police say 55-year-old Emil Perasso then hit his son with a small wooden baseball bat.

Both men were injured and refused medical treatment.

Emil Perasso is facing a charge of aggravated battery while David Perasso was booked into jail for domestic battery.
